As you can tell on her pathology report, the disease was outside of the pelvis, making it stage IV Endometriosis. Not only did she have multiple lesions, but she also had disease outside of the pelvis and disease that affected her ureter (the tube that goes from the kidney to the bladder). These locations made her disease painful and the pelvic inflammation can be a contributor to her infertility.
