Women’s Excellence Obstetrics and Gynecology expands endometriosis services to women in the Lapeer community. Women’s Excellence Lapeer, Michigan is scheduled to open early 2019.
Endometriosis is a complicated and hard to diagnose condition in which tissue grows outside of the uterus. Unfortunately, many women go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed because symptoms vary from woman to woman. More common symptoms of endometriosis include heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, abnormal periods, and pain with intercourse. Less common symptoms include back pain, pain with bowel movements or urination, constipation, and fatigue.
